Ephesians 4:32

This verse rings heavy on my ears daily. I, as all of us, have been hurt by many. I was hurt recently by someone closer to me than anyone else. My mother! What she did I won't open up for the public but I will say it ended up in our family separated.  For  the past two years I have been harboring so much resentment  towards her that it has been eating my spiritual life to a pulp.

I questioned many times, WHY! If God is with us why would he allow her to hurt her family like this. However, in the past few weeks in helping her relocate I have slowly learned to forgive her. Her intentions weren't to hurt us kids or our my family and I have made many mistakes of my own. Who am I to judge her when I have sinned also. This resentment was ruining what i had built with my mom in the past 21 years of my life.

I just wanted to post this verse so I can tell others not to harbor resentment. You will ruin your relationships and there's no one to blame but yourself. It is not our place to judge. That right is reserved for God himself. Please make the best of your life and forgive all who have hurt you. It will make you feel so much better and who knows
YOU might even change their lives. :)
