Luke 11:9 & The Bridge Ministry

I love this verse. Anytime I hear it I think about Candy Christmas and her Bridge Ministry in Tennessee.

I listened to her testimonies at a women’s conference located in Branson about two years ago now and she is still my daily inspiration. Her ministry holds services under a local bridge every Tuesday where the homeless, hurt, volunteers, or travelers can attend for a warm meal and teaching from God.

The testimony that stood out the most for me was the night she almost didn't have food for the people. Their food serving trailer was too small to handle the amount of people they serve and the donations were slim to none with little to no money to help out her. She went home and broke down praying to God for an answer and guidance as too what she was to do about it all. She stated that when she walked outside there was a pallet of food for her and someone else donated almost an entire truckload of coats for them as well.
Her Bridge Ministry inspires me to help people everywhere.

I want to be a part of bettering someone’s life and leading them to the cross. I just hope that is what God
has in store for me.
